Since the 1950s my Grandfather's and Grandmother's family have periodically gathered to keep family ties close. My cousins and I have listened to many theological and political discussions as our parents have freely exchanged various ideas. With the use of personal computers, I became very interested in researching my heritage.
We continue to have family reunions alternately in Kentucky and Indiana. Several of the aunts and uncles have passed on to their rewards and the family gatherings seem to be even more important with each passing.
It is difficult to keep up with everyone now because of the all children and grandchildren, but yet there is a feeling of closeness as we gather each year.
