Alfred Minall (b.1850) in his workshop in 1891
Alfred Minall began his career as a joiner and journeyman-carver on the Rothschilds' Tring Park estate. He became taxidermist and first curator of the museum established at Tring in the late 19th century by Walter, later Lord, Rothschild, an eminent natural historian.
