Ancestors of Paul Frederick Fraser

Generation No. 5

      18. Henry Erb, born in Pennsylvania?.

Notes for Henry Erb:
Caronne Secord found an entry in "Loyalists of New Brunswick," by Esther Clark Wright for Henry Erb (Arp) "from Pennsylvania, served in Bucks County Volunteers and in the Commissary-General's Department. He went to Belleisle, NB." He is in the land grant database under Arp and the family went by "Erbb" in 1851. Still need to do work to prove the connections, however, the two known sons of Sophia were named Henry and Warren and William was a witness at Sophia's wedding.
Names and dates for sons based on 1851 census for Kingston Parish, NB. Also, sent by Caronne, is information confirming above in book, "New Brunswick Loyalists" by Sharon Dubeau. Dubeau lists the children adding Henry and Mary Ann and showing the marriages given, including Sophia to George Fraser. She also adds that his work for Commissary-General was on Long Island and his land was granted in 1786.
