*Jeffrey Families: After his marriage they "removed to Ashburnham, Mass. In November, 1772, Daniel Priest, 'blacksmith of Ashburnham,' bought of Enoch Hale, land in Monadnock No. 2 (Jaffrey), lots 14 and 15, range 10. These lots, now including the farms Fred Bass and Rufus Fenerty on the Rindge road, adjoined on the north land owned by Asa Priest. He was last taxed in Jaffrey in 1793. Jan. 13, 1794, he sold 'the most part of lot 14, range 10,' his home place, to Paris Miles of Concord, Mass. His later place of residence has not been ascertained."
