immigrated in 1760 to Nova Scotia, Canada.(1071)

is my 5th great granduncle. 5th great granduncle
*Colchester History: His parents are not given. "Hugh Moor, Senr., was
another of the first settlers of Truro. He came with his brothers, sisters and
their husbands, in the year 1760. He was on of the Grantees of the Township,
and had his first house on the interval of Salmon River. After this he built
a house on the upland, near the Pictou Rail Road, on the east end of Mr. andrew
Moor's orchard. He purchased a house from Mr. Robert Cock, where he spent the
remainder of his life, being the same house in which his son Hugh lived and died,
and his grandson, Andrew Moor, lived until October, 1871. Hugh Moor, Senr.,
died December 10, 1820, a few days after having his leg amputated. He was 82
years of age."

*Colchester History: His parents are not given. "William Moor, was brother
of Hugh, and Daniel, and they had four sisters who came to Nova Scotia. He was
but a boy when he came to Truro. He was a Wheeleright by trade, and was called
Clean Billy Moor. He removed to Shubenacadie, where he spent the remainder of
his life, and died."

Daniel Moor(1075) was born about
1754.(1076) Based on age 6 at time
of immigration, in 1760. He immigrated in 1760 to Nova Scotia, Canada.
(1077) He died in FEB 1826 in Brookfield,
Nova Scotia, Canada.(1078) He is my
5th great granduncle. 5th great granduncle
*Colchester History: His parents are not given. "Daniel Moor came to Nova
Scotia with his brothers and sisters, when he was a boy 6 years old." ...
He and his wife "removed and settled in Brookfield about the year 1786.
William Hamilton and they were the first settlers in Brookfield. He reared
his family and died there," [Brookfield, NS is just south of Truro]
