*Wanderings : "George Wright, the youngest son of Daniel and Ann Thomas Wright, was born in Feb 1853 and died on Dec 2, 1938. Having been too young to work much when his younger sister, Mary was able to go out with her cane, he was allowed to be her constant companion. And she, by common consent and the doctor's advice, was not given any fixed tasks; and neither was he. Both being fun loving and actively inclined, it is a wonder that their pranks were mostly innocent ones, such as riding a two year old steer, which, when he was tired of his job, would run and dump them in the snow. When any loose article was missing, we always charged to "Toben's Pair". It annoyed Mr. Tobin, the tailor, to have them peek at him through the window or the partly opened door, as he sat cross legged, at work; and when discovered, they would laugh and run away. He gave them a name implying that they were a pair of Imps of the Wicked One. Although George did not begin regular work as early as his brothers, he became very proficient at all kinds of farm work, and was especially good at handling live stock and managing a team. He got a farm off the old place. In 1880 he married Mary Fleck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fleck of South Branch, Upper Stewiacke. They had five children.
For some years he had been going to the USA, at certain seasons, to work. Eventually he removed, with his whole family to New Hampshire, where he and his wife ended their days." He was married to * Mary Fleck on APR 13 1880 in St. Andrews, Nova Scotia, Canada.(5) From Marriage Slip:
