I have just put FTM on my computer and have nothing to tell or share at this moment of any major importance. I would like to hear from others who tie in to Ward Taylor of S. C.; his son, Moses of Ga. and maybe Miss.; and his son, Dr. Job Taylor (also Methodist minister)of Longview, & Marshall, Tx. Dr. Job Taylor operated a ladies boarding school at some point in one of the above towns in the early l850's as well as serving as a circuit preacher and medical doctor. He was also in Earp, Tx which was very near where Longview is now. His son, Ozias James Taylor operated a mercantile store in Marshall on the square during the middle and late 1860's and 70's. Does any one know if their ancestors were married , educated or doctored by Dr. Job Taylor? Ozias James married Annie May Marks of Bossier, La, daughter of Nicholas Merriwether Marks of Ga & Miss.,& La., son of John Marks of Ga. & Ala., and Va.
