20. Purnall HEARNE ⁽²⁴⁾ was born 1741 or later. From "A Somerset Sampler, Families of Old Somerset County, Maryland 1700-1776" compiled by Pauline Manning Batchelder from research of members of the Lower Delmarva Genealogical Society:

"In Apr. Court 1755, George Hearn (2b) was appointed guardian to Purnall and Ebenezer Hearn (2c) was appointed guardian to James, both of whom were under age fourteen." Children were:

i. James HEARNE⁽²⁵⁾.
10 ii. Ebenezer HEARNE.
iii. Thomas HEARNE⁽²⁶⁾.
iv. Purnall HEARNE⁽²⁷⁾ was born after 1757.⁽²⁸⁾
v. William HEARNE⁽²⁹⁾.
vi. George HEARNE⁽³⁰⁾.
