She married EDWIN EMERSON BROWN March 22, 1870 in Galveston, Texas, son of CHARLES BROWN and SUSAN ROBINSON. He was born July 24, 1840 in Waldoboro, Maine, and died May 29, 1906 in Verdugo, Los Angeles County, CA.

ANNAH SYLVESTER:
Hannah was brought up on her parents' plantation in Texas. She had a slave who would not leave her and stayed with her until she died. She was 19 when she married. She had a daughter that year then four sons.
