LLA KENYON:
Mary Elizabeth Kenyon ( Mrs. Cordner Bruce Nelson) was the last to visit with Ella Kenyon Jackson, "cousin Ella" in her apartment at 930 North Harrison. She heard the "death rattle" as she expired. She died of Arteriosclerotic heart disease according to her doctor Donald M. Fowell. She is buried at Casa Bonita. Ella Kenyon Jackson was the granddaughter of Phineas Kenyon and it was she who registered Phineas Kenyon and Elizabeth Lane on the Pioneer Roster #V9-010 of Native Daughters of the Golden West. She gives his date of birth in Rhode Island as May 28, 1802 which differs from the family bible entry. She lists his profession as farmer and residence in California as Linden 1853-1877(the time of his death, although his obituary said he was residing at his son's in Stockton. She lists his places of residence prior to California as Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Missouri.
