Jonathan Kenyon and 9. Sarah Rogers. He married 5. Elizabeth Langworthy October 22, 1768 in Hopkinton Township, Westerly, Washington Co., Rhode Island.

      5. Elizabeth Langworthy, born May 31, 1741 in Hopkinton Township, Westerly,Washington Co., Rhode Island; died Bef. 1775 in Rhode Island. She was the daughter of 10. Samual Langworthy and 11. Mary Crandall.

Notes for Benjamin Kenyon:
His deeds indicate he lived in Charlestown shortly after his first marriage. He appears to have bee living in Hopkinton when his children were born. He was not listed in the census of 1774. He may have bee living with the Langworthys, his wife's people. In the census of 1790, it is likely that his son, Benjamin, was living with him -- Benjamin Kenyon (171) as the son was not listed and a child under 16 is given in the total as follows: males over 16, one male under 16, and 3 females. While living in Charlestown, he marched on the alarm of August, 1757, and served in Captain Russell;'s company in 1760. He executed a number of deeds in Charlestown and in Hopkinton. He was commissioned ensign of the Charlestown company of Captain Joshua Card in 1762, Lieutenant of same company under Captain John Stanton in 1763, and Captain of the same company in 1765 (C.M.I., RI). In the military census of 1777, he was living in Hopkinton and listed as, "16-60 able." His will was proven 16 Dec 1811. He mentions all children and a grandson, Peleg Utley who may have been son of a deceased daughter not listed in births of his children.
