      According to Sam Dockery, g-son of Susan (Newell) Dockery, Henry Calvin Newell married Fannie Dockery, a sister of George W. Dockery, and had two sons, Walter and Tom.

      Written "Henry" 23 MS AL MS in 1900 occupation appears to be written "casemand or casemant." Fannie remarried about 1903, so it is assumed that Henry may have died earlier. Ttranscribed "Harry" in 1900. Dob stated as Jul 1876.

      On the 1910 Tuscaloosa Co., AL census, Fannie is shown as married 7 years to Lucian Morrison. She has borne four children and four are living. In addition to the two Morrison children, Walter and Tommie Newell are listed as "step-sons" in the household. Bedie Dockery age 65, widow, mother-in-law is living with the family and has borne four children with four living. George and Susan Dockery are two households away in 1910. John R. and Rutha (Newell) Dailey are adjacent household in 1910.
      The 1920 census lists Walter and Tom as "Morrisons" although they should be "Newells." Both they and their step-father are coal laborers.
