She was married to Isaac RICE Medicial Doctor (son of Jacob RICE Senior and Mary ROWLAND) on 14 Jan 1847.⁽¹²⁹⁷⁾ Isaac RICE Medicial Doctor ⁽¹²⁹⁸⁾ was born on 28 Oct 1826 in , Washington, MD. He died on 3 May 1897.
Isaac Rice came to Ogle County, Illinois in 1837. He graduated from Rush Medical College. In his early years, he worked as a teacher and a farmer. He served in the Illinois House of Representatives and in the Illinois State Senate. He helped found the Bank of Mount Morris. He traveled abroad three times. Sarah HIESTAND and Isaac RICE Medicial Doctor had the following children:
