      5. Esther May Burns3, born April 05, 1896 in Milledgeville, Carroll, IL; died January 28, 1986 in Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA. She was the daughter of 10. Daniel Louis Burns and 11. Anna M. Tarner.

Notes for John Isaac Newcomer:
John Newcomer served as Justice of the Peace, 1918-1920, and as Mount M orris Township Clerk, 1928-1930. He had a farm northeast of Milledgevi lle, Illinois from 1937 to 1941.
John Newcomer, Sr. died in the evening at a bowling alley in Polo, Illi nois. He was bowling with a neighbor, Ed Vock, when he suffered a hear t attack and died. Esther Newcomer, his wife, was working as a nurse a t the Dixon State Hospital that evening. Burns Newcomer, his youngest s on, was home at the farm several miles north of Hitt. It was a Saturda y night and the farmers and city folks were in town for shopping and mo vies. It had been snowing and there were three of four inches of snow o n the streets. Someone called the movies at Dixon, Illinois and an anno uncement was made over the speakers for John Newcomer, Jr., the oldest s on, to come to the box office, where he was informed of his father's he art attack.
Etholene Clingenpeel, latter to become Burns Newcomer's wife, happ ened to be bowling in another alley at the time John Newcomer, Sr. died .

He was their assistant vice president of GEICO su bsidiary Operations Government Employees Corporation.
Calvert died from heart disease while at his regular dialysis trea tment for his liver ailment.
