My research is of the following families: Andrews; Gormack; Robertson; Josephson; Marina; O'Donnell.
I will tell you briefly about some of the families:
Carlo Marina was from Verona in Italy and came out to Australia where he met his wife, settled in Young, NSW on a property and became a well known grazier.
Albert Louis Robertson came from Rotherhithe in England and was an Architect, he designed quite a number of superb buildings here in Australia. Later his son Louis Spier and grandson Louis Leighton followed in his footsteps and also became Architects of well known pieces around around Australia and Fiji.
Jacob Josephson was from Breslau in Wroclaw, and he was arrested for stealing a piece of jewellery, and was sentenced for about 7 years.
