Mary McDonald (b. 16 September 1855, d. 10 December 1918)

Mary McDonald (daughter of William McDonald and Agnes Cumming) was born 16 September 1855 in Dailly, Ayrshire, Scotland, and died 10 December 1918 in Dunedin, New Zealand. She married John Lawrence Gormack on 22 December 1877 in Clinton, Dunedin, New Zealand, son of Lawrence Oliphant Gormack and Mary Moncrieff Peddie.

Mary first met John in Clinton

They both were married in Clinton(they lived out their married lives)

After John's death in 1910, Mary sold the farm and moved into Clinton where for a while she ran a boarding house, before retiring to Dunedin where she lived with her only surviving daughter, Mary.
