Notes for WILLIAM FRANKLIN KIMBERLY:
Frank was an accomplished cornetist, and he organized and conducted bands in Jewell, Holgate, Ayersville, Liberty Center, Napoleon, and Defiance.

Frank and Kathryn lived in Jewell until 1906 when they moved to Defiance. Frank's early employment was in th management of creameries in Jewell, Holgate, and Ridgeville. Upon moving to Defiance, he held a variety of positions, including investigator for the B. and O. Railroad, City Safety Director, Sealer of Weights and Measures, Humane Officer, Probation Officer, and Advertising Manager at the Crescent News. For the last ten years of his life, he was Circulatioin Manager of the Toledo Blade in a five county area.

Sues For Divorce
Ruth M. Kimberly, Defiance, today had filed a petition in common pleas here asking a divorce from Ralph J. Kimberly, Defiance on the ground of gross neglect of duty. She also asked care, custody and control of their four minor children ranging in ages from 4 to 10 years, and alimony. The petition recited the couple was married July 11, 1921. Shaw and Weaner, Defiance are attorneys for the plaintiff.
