I have been researching my husband's family tree for about six years now. Since it involved trawling through lots of records, containing other Pagdins, I decided to research the whole clan, as far as possible. Since I live within easy reach of the archives of three of the counties in which the Northern Pagdins lived, I now have records of over 2000 names, being Pagdins and their wives, etc. The earliest record I have is in the 1500s and the records I have are mainly in the South Yorks, Notts and Lincs counties. I would love to hear from anyone who has researched the North Yorks Pagdins, who came originally from the Notts/ Yorks border.

I would also like to know where they came from - the Pagdins. My father-in-law found a gravestone in Milan, Italy, engraved Di Pagdini. Does anyone know?
