Ambrose, head of household, in Wilkes Co., NC, with 4 in family and 3 slaves, showing he was fairly prosperous. Later when his daughters were grown and married he gave them a slave. Each son got a male slave. "King David" was given to Martin Livingston. Martha's slave was "Milly", who survived her young mistress and was a faithful servant to Martha's children. Ambrose and Frances moved to TN after some of their children settled there. They went on to MO and probably died there.
