Aaron PARKS⁽¹⁸⁾⁽²⁹⁾ was born in 1765 in Amherst Co., VA. He died in May 1820 in Lincoln Co., KY. Robert, son of Aaron and Betsy, had a number of sons, all killed in Confederate Army.

Ambrose, head of household, in Wilkes Co., NC, with 4 in family and 3 slaves, showing he was fairly prosperous. Later when his daughters were grown and married he gave them a slave. Each son got a male slave. "King David" was given to Martin Livingston. Martha's slave was "Milly", who survived her young mistress and was a faithful servant to Martha's children. Ambrose and Frances moved to TN after some of their children settled there. They went on to MO and probably died there.

wear he conducted a tavern. He married a Miss Frances Miller, and
among their
children was Rufus Burton Parks, who was born in Lynchburg in 1827."

Louisa has also died and a child of her's is also in home with Benjamin and Polly, a Louisa T Johnston, age 8.
