On the 1850 census Joseph and Jane's daughter is one year old. Also in the household was Jane's brother, Henry age 15. Jane's mother, Susan had died in 1847 and is buried in the cemetery plot created by the Walker family. Another brother, John, age 23 is working for the Ephriam Welch family.
