EORGE ANDREW YUST:
George and Marie lived in Big Stone City, South Dakota and built up a farmstead.

From the Yust family history (which was difficult to read) it states that Marie lived in the city of Big Stone later on and that George lived in a cabin on the farm of (unable to read) he spent many summers with his son, Ervin and later with his grandson, Duane.

George is buried in Big Stone Cemetery, northwest of Big Stone City.

NGELBERT JOHN BIEDERMAN, SR.:
From the Biederman Family History that was written in 1988 and which can be found in the Durand Public Library, it stated that the original spelling of their last name was Bitterman and was changed in 1895\6 to Biederman. The Biederman's were Catholic.

Berts family emmigrated to America in 1878 and he was naturalized in 1906. Bert worked as a young man on the Chippewa River, then in the Durand Brewery, and later as a custodian of the school and the court house. He was a "naturalized citizen." He started working toward his citizenship during World War I, and received his final papers April 18, 1921.

Bert and Florence celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary on September 15, 1963. An article and their picture was in the "Courier Wedge" concerning this event.

Bert was a Durand Volunteer Fireman and was the oldest member of this group. At his funeral service the firemen formed a line in tribute to him as his casket was carried out of the church.

Bert is buried in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Durand, Wisconsin.

Engelbert Biederman of Durand, Wisconsin, son of Frank and Thiela (Preissl) Biederman and Florence Minder, daughter of John and Alice Minder were married on 15 September 1903 in Durand, Pepin County, Wisconsin at the Catholic church by C.B. Weikman. Witnesses were August Echling and Mary Jung.

Pepin County Courier Durand, Wisconsin Friday September 18, 1903: The marriage of Engelbert Biederman of this city and Miss Florence Minder of Frankfort was solemonised at the Catholic Church by Rev. C. B. Weikman, at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning last. The groom is an industrious young man and has been in the employ of the Durand Brewing company for several years. The bride is the daughter of John Minder of Frankfort. A large number of friends of the brial pair assembled at the grooms step father Sylvester Pomasel where the elegant dinner was served. Both the young people have many friends who will be glad to hear of their union. The Courier unites with these in congratulations.

  Notes for ENGELBERT JOHN BIEDERMAN, JR.:
He spent his entire life in Durand except for a short period of time spent in Chicago. He worked as a young man for the Hercules Powder Milk Plant in Durand, and for them also when he was in Chicago. After he was married he worked as a bartenter at Club 10 in Durand for twenty years. After his retirement he worked part-time at the Country Club golf course in Durand. Buss was a great fellow to tell stories. He enjoyed this immensely, and even better when someone was a little slow to get the catch-on. He had lots of fun with his story telling. Everyone liked Buss and enjoyed good banter with him. He is buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Durand, Wisconsin.

  Notes for EILEEN ROEDER:
Eileen was born 18 June 1913, the daughter of George and Helen (Mulheron) Roeder of Chase Hill, Wisconsin. Buss and Eileen observed their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary in 1963, and the "Courier Wedge" carried an article concerning this event. They had no children.
