THIRD GENERATION

10. Edward PEARSON was born in 1648 in Wimslow Parish ,Pownall Fee, Cheshire, England. He died on 3 Jun 1697 in Bucks Co., Pennsylvania.
Edward and his family came to America on the ship "Welcome" in 1687. They presented their credentials at the Quaker Meeting on 4/1/1687. Edwards' brothers, Thomas and John came to America on the ship "Endeavor" in 1684. The Pearsons were among the earliest emmigrants to Pennyslvania.

He was married to Sarah BURGESS on 6 Jan 1671 in Wimslow Parish ,Pownall Fee, Cheshire, England. Sarah is great grand daughter of Randal Janney I. The family went to America in 1687 on the ship Welcome. Presented credentials at Quaker meeting 4/1/1687. Sarah BURGESS was born in 1651 in Wimslow Parish ,Pownall Fee, Cheshire, England. Edward PEARSON and Sarah BURGESS had the following children:

16 i. Mary [Martha] PEARSON was born on 27 May 1673 in Cheshire, England. She died on 10 Sep 1673 in Cheshire, England. Mary Martha Pearson daughter of Edward and Sarah [Burgess] Pearson died as an infant on 9/10/1673. She was about four months old. She was buried in Cheshire, England possibly at Moberly [ Friends ] Quaker cemetary.

21 vi. Phebe PEARSON was born on 12 Apr 1685 in Cheshire, England. She died on 5 Jun 1686 in Cheshire, England. Phebe died a little over a year old. We do not know the reason for her death as there were many deaths among new borns and young children.
