16. Huel White Plylar ⁽¹⁾ (photo) was born on 26 Feb 1879 in Walker County, Alabama. He died on 18 Mar 1954 in Walker County, Alabama.⁽³⁾ When my grandfather Huel became ill dad put up poles from grandfather's house to our house which is across the road and on the hill, and ran a rope from the front porch of grandfather's house to our house with a cow bell on our porch.(grandfather didn't have a phone) I remember the night grandfather died, I had just gone to bed when we hear the cow bell ring, dad went down the hill and came back after a while and told my mother that granddad had just died.
