Luisa DECK witness baptism 14 Oct 1821. Parents listed as Jacob and Anna Maria Potteiger. Wenrich's Church was Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran and Reformed and is now St. Thomas United Church of Christ.

Gravesite is 933, next to John H., his son, on 932 and his wife Matilda on ?931. Jonathon's wife is buried on site 934

Gravesite 403, I believe, contains the remains of "Jacob, son of Jonathon & Hannah Pottieger" (sic, a very poor quality stone, Jonathon taken off the stone for Amanda): looks like he died in 1862 at the age of 7 years, 2 months & 9 days. He
is on1860 census.

1910 census shows Jonathon's widow had nine children? She is living
with Matilda Potteiger Stouffer who has been added as a child - 1/23/96.

Why does the index for Wenrichs list Jonathon and Hannah with Amanda on site 724?? I did not find a gravestone there for them. Perhaps they are just indexed in that manner because they purchased the gravesite or because they are Amanda's
parents! The latter may explain why I have not found some of the grave sites! It is also possible that there are no stones for some of the graves!

Dauphin Co., PA will Jonathan Potteicher, died 6/21/1904, Hannah & Samuel S. Potteicher, A-105, 5/223

1860 Census for Lower Paxton Twp., Dauphin Co., PA lists Jona. 39, Hannah 26, Samuel 7, Jacob 5, Jonas 4, Rebecca 1, David, 16 a Laborer and Eliza 38 a Widow. These latter two have not been identified. 1880 Census data for Lower Paxton Twp.,
Dauphin Co., PA (Soundex) lists Jonathan 58, Hannah 45, Samuel 26, David R. 18, John H. 16, Mary J. 14, Matilda 11, Alexander 8, and Annie 3.
