219. Susan Pope HUNTER was born on 12 Jan 1819 in West Moreland Co., VA.⁽¹²²⁾ She died on 12 Dec 1862 in West Moreland Co., VA. ⁽¹²³⁾ Children were:

109 i. Sarah Jane YEATMAN.
ii. A. Oscar YEATMAN.
iii. Mary YEATMAN⁽¹²⁴⁾. An interesting aside, Sarah J. Yeatman Dever had a sister Mary. She
married Philip Johnson in VA and had 3 children by him. Philip died from
small pox. I don't know where she hooked up with Joseph Conrow but they
ended up in Portland OR the rest of their lives. She had 1 child by
Conrow. My mother had pictures of these people and when I asked her who
they were, she said, no relation that she knew. The pictures had been
sent by Aunt Elsie when she settled Uncle Ijmes estate.

Well Now, To make a long story short, there was the name Mary Conrow
on the back and the name of the studio. It took me about 2 months to
trace everything down but I did. Her son Philip Johnson was a Lt. on the
Portland Police Force and was murdered while on duty by another policeman
who then shot himself. I always remember reading about it in the paper.
Little did I know he was distantly related to me. The other interesting
thing about this research was I ended up being related to a women that
married an ex-fiance's best friend. I couldn't stand her!! As soon as
she found out we were related, however distantly, she changed her tune
and became quite friendly. Be careful, you never know when you could be
related. This same woman is related to me twice. Can you imagine? On
the Yeatman side and on the Sylvester Fuller side. Strange things come
up in this hobby.
