Great thanks to my uncle bobby for getting this project off the ground.I look forward to talking to all proffitt's since it appears we are all related. I believe my line has a gap in it and that is the main reason iam creating this page, and maybe it will help some others feel in their gaps. My line goes like this

everything i have been able to find on the web breaks up with louis george. louis went to california and remarriad and that is where my great grand father david w proffitt was born everyone tracks him there but they do not list his second wife and childern from that marriage in california.most of louis george proffitts descendents are in arkansas and missouri.
