Walter Scott Pearce came to the US at the age of 1 in about 1867. He was the son of a British civil engineer here to build a bridge (possibly on the Tombigbee). He married Coleta Cherry about1892, and had 5 children: Coleta Esther, Raymond, Edith, Jean and Walter. He was never naturalized. They lived primarily in Crawford, MS.
John Richard Farrell (b. 13 Mar 1860)married Emma Davidson(1864-1925). They lived in Meridian, MS (though he had a brother who owned a glass company in Mobile). They had 3 children: James Leslie, John "Jack" Richard and Christine "Artie." James Leslie married Coleta Esther Pearce.
Thomas Jefferson McMullan (a "pioneer" of Newton County, MS, came from GA) m. Rachel Reynolds. Their son, Thomas Newton McMullan (b.1850) m. Alice Daniels and moved to Hickory, MS in 1900. He served as mayor of Hickory and owned McMullan & Sons, a large mercantile business. They had 7 children:Lucille, Ida, Maude, Maidy, Marcus, Gene, Lee and Otto Jerome. Their son, Otto Jerome, m. Emma Eugenia Monroe. They had 7 children: AnnieLee, Dale, Lucille, Thomas, Joe, Billy and Mary Lou. Their daughter, Mary Lou, m. Wilfred Lamar Newton,son of Maude Furr and Charlie Newton. They lived primarily in MS and had 1 son, Don Allen.
Don Allen Newton m. Coleta Esther Farrell, daughter of Coleta Esther and James Leslie Farrell from above. They moved to Birmingham, AL and have 2 children:Don Allen, Jr. and Coleta Mary "Midge."
Coleta Mary ("Midge") m. Thomas Edward Rast II of Birmingham, AL and has 1 son, Thomas Edward Rast III.
