My family live around Montgomery and Bath Counties.
Volney Ray b/1827 in KY or VA married Mary Warren b/1832 in Bath County Ky
in 1850. One son born Joseph Volney Ray b/ 1855. Volney died or left about 1856/57.
Mary remarried again before 1860 to Wallace Stull. (verified in 1860 census). Joseph
death record states Volney was from “Lee Co Va” other papers state KY. I have been
unable to find out anything else on him.
