My mother, Ramona remembers her grandfather has having beautiful blue eyes and he would play the fiddle for her. He built hip-roof barns and wooden railroad trestles in Northern Idaho area.

I was told that Hattie Rose came into the Lewiston Idaho Valley in a covered wagon with her husband Abraham Latham

This is a picture of my maternal Grandmother in 1931. She married Dwight Latham on April 24, 1924.
- Dwight Leonard Latham (53 KB)
Dwight was nicknamed "Cuffy". I was told he was in the Canadian Army. He worked through the Depression at several WPO Projects and at the naval ship yards in Bremerton during the war.

My mother always wanted to be called Mona or Monie. She said that the best job she ever had was raising and playing with her five children. Mom had a way of collecting stray people like those who collect stray cats. Everyone who met her wanted to be either her child or grandchild. Nurturing others is what my mom knew how to do best.
