Mrs. Mina E. Dillard died Thursday evening at her home at 546 F street, Springfield, after an illness of several months.
      Mina E. Brabham was born May 8, 1884, at Ellsworth, Kansas. She came to oregon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs J. T. Brabham at the age of 4 years, and resided in this vicinity most of her life. She had lived in Springfield about 19 years.
      She was married to Earle N. Dillard in eugene in October, 1903. Tow children were born to this union. Mr. Dillard died in 1928 and her son Kenneth died in 1929.
      She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Dillard Huberd and one grandson, Kenneth, of Springfoeld; two sisters, Mrs. L. C. Sherman of Eugene, Mrs. W. K. Cleek of Weippe, Idaho, and three brothers. W. T. Brabham and B. H. Brabham, both of Crow and L. C. Brabham of Forest Grove. She was a sister-in-law of W. B. Dillard of Eugene and F. C. Dillard of Medford.
      She was a member of Eugene Ivy lodge No. 70 Degree of Honor and the Neighbors of Woodcraft in Springfield.
      The funeral will be at Veatch chapel Monday at 10:30 a.m., Rev E. V. Stivers officiating. Burial will be in the new Odd Fellows cemetery.

Lawrence Chester Brabham, "Pop", was born in Eugene, Oregon on July 12, 1898, and laid this life down to rest on friday morning, March 21, 1986, two weeks after suffering a heart attack. He was married to Esther Shearer on December 31, 1921.... last year was their 64th wedding anniversary. Lawrence served in the Army Air Corps durring World War II, Notably in Europe. In 1949 he started Brabham Electric, operating it with his son, Ed. Retirement occured in 1963. "Pop" was a Beloved member of the First Christian Church and a 67-year member of the American Legion.

      Esther Shearer Brabham was born October 27, 1901 in the Hillside area northwest area of Forest Grove, Oregon. She was raised in the Hillside area, one of eight children in the family of William Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Shearer. She Attended Forest Grove and Hillsboro Schools, Graduating after tenyears of school. Esther married Lawrence Brabham on December 31, 1921. He preceded her in death in March, 1986, after 64 years of marriage. Ester was a long time member of the Hillside Bible Church until moving to her present home in Forest Grove in 1949, at which time she joined the First Christian Church of Forest Grove. She was active in the Christian Women's Fellowship here, the Hillside Women's Club, and the Tualatian Valley Gem Club. she died at Forst Grove Community Hospital of heart disease on September 29, 1989 at the age of 87.
