This is site is the ancestry search for Pamela Sue Phillips who married Marc Franklin Repp on 29 May 1970 in Valley Station, Kentucky at South Jefferson Baptist Church.
The PHILLIPS side is located mostly in the the region of what was Augusta County Virigina, that is now Randolph, Barbour, Tucker and Upshur counties in West Virginia. It is a family that has been researched to have its beginnings in England in the 1500's. They were Yeoman of the crown or landed gentry that included a patriach that graduated with a degree from Cacius College at Cambridge University in 1620. It is also made up of the GOFF side that includes it's beginnings the Cromwellian world of regicide and Civil War. Col. William GOFFE being one of the thirteen judges that signed the death warrant of King Charles I, and thus became a fugitive of the crown that emigrated to the new world. This GOFF side also includes the direct lineage to the REV.ANTHONY JACOB HENCKEL who came to the new world from the Palainate in 1711 and founded and pastored St.Michael's Church, the first Lutheran church in the new world of Philadelphia. PHILLIPS surnames include; PHILLIPS, RAMSEY, DIGMAN, KITTLE, KELLER, POLING, MOORE, BOOHER, GOFF, ELBON, RUSH, STROTHER, GRAY, DELAUDER, CLARK and COLLETT.
The maternal side of Pamela Sue Phillips Repp is just beginning to take shape and there is nothing known at this time. The ancestry will be found in the regions of North Carolina/South Carolina and possibly Virginia. The PHILLIPS maternal surnames: CRISCO (also CHRISCOE/CHRISCO/CRISCOE), POPLIN, COLE, RUSSELL, and HAYWOOD. All should be from the Richmond and Moore county area, with possible Ablemarle connections.
The REPP side of this union has its beginnings in Daurenheim, Hessen, Germany when CASPER REPP emigrated with his family from the Palainate in 1727 on the ship 'St.Andrew's Galley', landing at the port of Philadelphia and then migrating to the northern Ohio area of Cleveland and Medina, Mahoning, Ashland and Wayne counties. The REPP surnames being researched are: REPP, STITLE, KNECHT, SCHAEFER and LAWSON.
The maternal side of REPP has its beginning in Scotland and Ireland and settled in the same areas of Ohio. They are a long line of farmers and clergymen. Maternal REPP surnames being researched are: TOWSLEE, BASHAM, STITH, FINDLAY, FERGUSON, PARK, MARSH, PATTERSON, STANLEY and McGUIRE.
