ALBERT WILLIAMS (b. 24 Oct 1802, d. 21 Feb 1874)

ALBERT WILLIAMS (son of STEPHEN WILLIAMS and SARAH FULLER) was born 24 Oct 1802 in WILLIAMSTOWN, MA, and died 21 Feb 1874 in ADAMS, MA. He married PHEBE MARIA FOSTER on 16 Oct 1822 in POWNAL, VT., daughter of DAVID FOSTER and POLLY TREADWELL.

Notes for ALBERT WILLIAMS:
Albert farmed on the Northwest Hill in Williamstown, Ma. He was given 11 acres of Farmland just before his marriage to Phebe by his Grandmother Elizabeth (Elsie) Williams. He bought 22 acres from Timothy and John Whitman for 150 dollars on 22 Oct 1822. This deed was signed by his wife Phebe, his sister Lucina Williams, and himself. On 1 Jul 1823 he bought 50 acres of farmland from Ezekiel Brownell who had married Robert Williams daughter Chloe Williams. This deed was signed by both Albert and Stephen Williams. By 1823 Albert had 83 cares in the Northwest Hill area. The federal census of 1850 shows that Alberts father Stephen Williams 81yrs, was now widowed and living with Alberts family in Williamstown, Ma.
