Lived in Westmoreland County, Virginia. He was a British soldier and a redemptioner. He paid the ship passage of Richard Stephenson who was indentured to him as a servant for seven years. After his mysterious death in 1725, Honora married the indentured servant Richard Stephenson. They removed from Westmoreland County, Va, to Frederick County, VA, shortly after their marriage.
