Notes for JOSEPH KILBOURNE: Moved from Hartford, Ct to Litchfield, Ct on 12 Dec 1721. He was one of the first settlers of Litchfield, Ct, having taken up residence there on 12 Dec 1721. In 1722, he was chosen Selectman. He was at one time Moderator of Town Meetings and Moderator of Proprietor's Meetings. Joseph Kilbourn was one of the founders of the Prebyterian Church in Litchfield, Ct. He signed his will as Joseph Kyllborn in 1737. His will was probated in 1744.
