JACOB STRICKLER (son of CONRAD STRICKLER and CHRISTINA BIXLER) was born 1727 in BUCKS COUNTY, PA., and died 01 Dec 1801. He married ELIZABETH HALSMOT (HALSTADT), daughter of JOHANNES HOLSWOT.

He wrote his will on 1 Dec 1800 and it was proved on 3 Nov 1802. In his will he wanted his estate divided among his children but does not name them. In 1765 he was living on part of his father's land next to his brother John. He was a witness to a deed of Conrad Strickler in 1769. He patented 182 acres on 12 Feb 1767 which was part of the original land grant to his father Conrad. This land was next to Ulrich Strickler;s heir's land. He was married to Elizabeth. He was a constable of Hellam Township in 1770. On 8 Jun 1801 he sold his 122 acres in Hellam Township to his son John. This was part of the 182 acres he patented in 1767. He sold the other acreage to Samuel Landis on the same date in 1801.
