CATHERINE LORION (b. 1636, d. 20 Apr 1720)

CATHERINE LORION (daughter of MATHURIN LORION and FRANCOISE MORIN) was born 1636 in STESOULLE, LAROCHELLE, AUNIS C-M, FRANCE, and died 20 Apr 1720 in MONTREAL, ILE DE MONTREAL, QUE. She married (1) NICOLAS MILLET on 09 Apr 1657 in MONTREAL, QUE, son of JACQUES MILLET and JEANNE VINCENT. She married (2) PIERRE DESAUTELS on 23 Nov 1676 in MONTREAL, QUEBEC, son of THOMAS DESAUTELS and MARIE DE LAFLECHE BUISSON.

Notes for CATHERINE LORION:
Catherine age 16 married Pierre Vilain age, on Sep 27, 1654. Pierre died four months later on 19 Jan 1655 when he was hit by a falling tree.
No children from this marriage.
Five months after the death of Pierre Vilain, Catherine married her second husband Jean Simon on 29 Jun 1655. With Jean she had one son, Leonard Simon. Jean and Catherine were only married 17 months when Jean drowned in the St. lawrence River and was buried on 24 Nov 1656.
Four months after the death of Jean Simon, Catherine married her third husband, Nicolas millet on 9 Apr 1657. They were married for 17 years and had eight children. Nicolas age 44 perished in the fire of his home on 9 Apr 1674.
Almost three years afyer the death of Nicolas Millet, Catherine married Pierre Desautels on 23 Nov 1676, from this marriage had two sons.
