3. JOHN³ BRACKEN (WILLIAM², THOMAS¹) was born 1710 in New Castle County, Delaware, and died 20 March 1782 in Huntington Township, York County, Delaware. He married CATHERINE ADAMS 19 September 1751 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Notes for JOHN BRACKEN:
He and his brother Thomas were listed as residents of Adams County, Huntington Township, in 1762. John was given land from his father in 1726, which he sold in 1763 in preparation for his move to Orange County, North Carolina.

Second marriage, at Old Swedes Church, no known issue
