INA ALICE RICHARDSON:
Sina Alice lived a very full life to the age of almost 92 years. She was staying up on December 1967 to greet the New Year of 1968 when she fell while getting ready to go to bed and broke several ribs and she was unable to recover from the injury and died on 5 January 1968 in Corsicana. She is buried at Petty's Chapel Cemetery beside her husband, Andrew Jackson Cook.

Nannie Lyne, 106, of Waco, died Wednesday in McGregor.

Service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Corley Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Ivan Ker officiating.

A former longtime resident of Corsicana, Lyne was born July 27, 1880, in Jasper County, and lived in Waco since 1955. She married Frederick Whitaker Lyne in 1902, who preceded her in death in 1923.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Lyne of Palestine; two daughters, Ruby Armstrong of Longview, and Oleta Bates of Waco; 13 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, and the family will be at 8901 Gladedale in Waco. Memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Robinson.

                  FINCHER

Mrs. Noma Madeline Fincher, 91, of 1012 West Madison, Ennis, died at her home Tuesday evening after an extended illness. Mrs. Fincher was born August 20, 1888 in Thornton, Texas, the daughter of G. L. and Barbara Richardson. November 4, 1906, she was married to James J. Fincher. Mr. Fincher preceded her in death. Mrs. Fincher lived most of her life around Ennis and the Byrd community. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Corsicana, Texas.

Survivors include five sons, Royal Fincher, Channelview, Texas, Garland, Frankie, Grady and Luther Fincher all of Ennis; two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Fox of Ennis, Mrs. Doris Norie of Dallas; 29 grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Lyne of Waco. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. A son, Arden Fincher and a daughter, Gelene Thornton preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Sanders Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ellington of Fort Worth officiating. Interment will be in the Myrtle Cemetery.

  Notes for LUTHER EDWIN FINCHER:
Luther served in the Cavalry during World War II in the Pacific campaign. He was in Luzon, the Phillipines and Tokyo, Japan. He retired as an electrician and was buried 30 May 1997 at Mytle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. He never married.

Graveside services for Mr. Luther Edwin Fincher, age 70, will be conducted at Myrtle Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 1997, with the Rev. Eddie Ricks officiating.

Mr. Fincher passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 28, 1997 at Baylor Medical Center of Ennis. He was born in Ennis on June 5, 1926, the son of Him and Noma Richardson Fincher. Mr. Fincher served in the Phillipines Luzon Pacific Campaign during World War II. He was a member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church and was an electrician.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Ethel Fincher of Ennis; a number of nieces and nephews, and a long time friend, Bobbie Faye Barnes.

All arrangements are with Lawrence Funeral Home, Inc.
