Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Sanders Funeral Chapel for Frankie W. Fincher, 60, of Ennis with Rev. Eddie Ricks officiating. Interment followed at Myrtle Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: J. D. Crow, Caleb Threet, Lester Bentle, Ralph Davis, Jackie Cashion and Milton Dlabaj, all of Ennis.

Mr. Fincher died Friday morning at Ennis Community Hospital. He was born May 16, 1924, in Ennis, the son of James J. and Noma M. Richardson Fincher. Mr. Fincher served with the Navy in World War II. He lived in Houston for a short time but returned to live in Ennis where he became a truck driver for Flintcote Company until he retired in 1982. Mr. Fincher was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 361 in Ennis.

He is survived by one son, Ricky Fincher of Houston; three daughters, Sandy Baldwin, Mrs. Sheri Duncan and Mrs. Micki Brown, all of Houston; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Fincher of Houston, Grady Fincher and Luther Fincher, both of Ennis, and two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Fox of Ennis and Mrs. Doris Norie of Dallas.
