Homer Nehemiah Elwell (son of Nehemiah Jr. Elwell and Ruth Whitford) was born May 10, 1842 in Climax, Kalamazoo Co. Mich, and died February 20, 1913 in Climax, Kalamazoo Co. Mich. He married Alice Granger Harvey on December 22, 1869 in Grand Prarie Michigan, daughter of George W. Harvey and Suzanne Forbes.
