I began my research about 10 years ago when I acquired my great grandfather's Doman family bible.Beginning with my family, I can trace back 10 generations.Other related family names are French, Everett, Walton, Heath, Johnson, Kuykendall. My grandfather lived in Rock Oak, WV, near Romney and a lot of the family members are buried in the Asbury Church Cemetery. I have photos of each tombstone. Our line is from: Jacob Doman & Margaret; William Foot Doman & Susannah; John Foot Doman & Sarah A. French; Robert James Doman & Frances (Everett);John Edward Doman & Minnie Evelyn (Walton*); Herbert Adolph Doman & Oleta Margaret Heath (1st wife), Mary Bowers (2nd wife); Geraldine Oleta (Doman) & James William Kuykendall (my parents). I would like to exchange information with others regarding this family. I can trace the Waltons for 7 generations to New Kent Co, VA. The Kuykendalls I can trace back 12 generations to Holland.
