The family names that I am currently researching are: VanAtten, Benjamin (1803-1873) Michigan, NY State Loveless, Mary Grace (1875-1944) Michigan, NY State Loveless, George (b. approx, 1835-45) Michigan, NY State Pangburn, Elizabeth (1800-1871) Michigan, NY State Wambaugh, Ebenezer (1829-1895) Indiana, Germany Stout, Elbert (1847-1913) Indiana Stice, Benjamin (b. approx, 1820-30) Indiana, Poss. Missouri Friedman, Rosena (1827-1896) Indiana, Germany
The name, VanAtten has been spelled "Van Etten," Vanatten." and "Van Atten." The family seems to have been in New York State for some time before migrating to Michigan (listed in the 1790 U.S. Census). Wambaugh has also been misspelled or changed from Wambach. The Wambaugh listed above was born in Germany and came to the U.S. about 1858. Rosena Friedman (also various spellings) came as a young woman to the U.S. from Germany with siblings who settled first in Cinncinati before moving to Indiana.
If you have any information about these people, I would be very grateful to have it. I will also gladly share information I might have. Thank you.
