Queen Matilda de Flanders (b. 1031, d. 1083)

Queen Matilda de Flanders (daughter of Baldwin V de Lille, Comte de Flandre and Adela de France, Princesse de France) was born 1031 in Flanders Belgium, and died 1083 in Caen, Normandy, France. She married King William THE-CONQUEROR, son of Duke of Normandy Robert THE-DEVIL and Arlette Herleva de Falaise.

She died on 2 November 1083 in Caen, Normandy, France. She was buried in Abbey of the Holy Trinity, Caen, Normandy, France.3
As a result of her marriage, Matilda de Flandre was styled as Queen Consort Matilda of England on 11 May 1068
