BURIAL: Martha was the first person buried in the Sconce (Hutton) Cemetery south of Greenup, IL. It is a half acre plot from the land of her younger brother-in-law, Thomas Sconce, who is also buried there.

MARRIAGE: Martha never married.

RESIDENCE: Thomas and Rosannah Sconce moved from Kentucky to the are a called Sconce Bend near Greenup, IL.

BURIAL-OCCUPATION: Thomas and Rosannah, along with James W. Black and Martha Patrick Black are the only family members known to be buried at the Sconce Cemetery. Among the few grave markers remaining are those of James, Martha and Thomas.
