Lawrence Crowley, an eight year old son of Phil Crowley, an old resident of Manistee, while playing on the ice in Manistee Lake Monday, fell into an air hole and was drowned. The body was recovered and a coroner's jury gave a verdict of accidental death. ( note that death record states age as 10 years, 0 months and 0, days. Also spells name Lorence Crowley)

4. Lawrence² Crowley (Dennis¹) was born 1846 in Ireland, and died December 16, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI. He married Anna Corrigan February 13, 1872 in Michigan, daughter of Phillip Corrigan and Rose McGee. She was born in Ireland.
