FIRST GENERATION

1. Peter Fish⁽¹⁾ was born before 1785 in London, England. Family tradition has it that he was a musician and played the violin for the Engish Royalty according to Dorothy Johnson Biehl. He died about 1837 in transit to America. ⁽²⁾ He was buried in the Atlantic Ocean. (There is on record at www.familysearch.com: a Peter Fish marrying Ann Harding or Herding on June 15, 1800 in Saint David, Exeter, Devon, England. There are three children of Peter and Ann Harding Fish whose christenings are also on record there; Peter, James, and Robert.)
