Mae Viola Johnson was born on Jun 9 1913 in Warren Twp., Washington Co., Ohio. ⁽¹³¹⁾ She died on Sep 13 1971 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. ⁽¹³¹⁾ Her obituary read, "Mrs. Mae Thompson, 58, Little Hocking Rt. 1, died at 3:50 p.m. yesterday in Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg. - She was born June 9, 1913, in Warren Twp., a daughter of the late Dayton and Effie Fish Johnson. One son and one daughter survive, Beman Thompson Jr., Pasadena Tex., and Mrs. Waldo (Jorene) Way, Vincent. There are five grandchildren. - Three brothers and three sisters survive: Carl Johnson, Williamstown; Warren Johnson, Kelmer Johnson and Mrs. Jack Beaver, all of Marietta, and Mrs. Ralph Biehl and Mrs. David Lowe, both of Whipple. A son Dale; four brothers, Delbert, Dean, Chester and Virgil Johnson, and three sisters, Gladys, Lucille and Eva, preceded her in death. - Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Pinehurst Christian Church. - Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Doudna & McClure Funeral Home with Elden Devore officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home." She was buried in Tunnel Cemetery, Washington Co., Ohio.
