21. Nancy Locker ⁽⁶⁸⁾ was born about 1814 in Virginia.

She was married to James Dawson on Nov 17 1839 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV).⁽⁶⁹⁾ They were married by Walter Athey. James Dawson died before 1860 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV). James Dawson "was living on his farm, had it pretty well cleared and every prospect of a good living on his farm, when he was assassinated while in the field at work. He lived two days after being shot through the body. No cause was assigned for the deed, and it has always been a mystery, the guilty party having never been found." - Hardesty Biographical Atlas of Wood Co., WV. Nancy Dawson and daughter is listed in the household of her brother, Lloyd, in 1860 and 1870. Nancy Locker and James Dawson had the following children:
