20. Thomas Wesley Locker was born on Feb 8 1810 in Loudoun Co., Virginia. ⁽⁶¹⁾ "Thomas Wesley Locker came to this county with his parents in 1818, when he was but eight years old. He remembers the hardships his parents had to endure, the country being all woods and the nearest neighbors living three, four and five miles away. They had no free schools then, and the children's chances for schooling were limited. They had no roads or conveniences as at present." - Hardesty's Biographical Atlas of Wood County, West Virginia. "...Thomas Locker (sometimes rendered Thomas W.) recieved a deed from George I. Davison, in 1835, for one hundred acres of land apparently lying on Big Run, immediately below the mouth of Jackson's run. This is the man who founded what is long known as the old Locker farm, and this with, perhaps, other adjoining purchases, has constituted the same... He has descendants in that vincintity yet." - Pioneers in Wood County, by John A. House, 1936.
He , according to federal census records, was a farmer in 1850 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV). He died after 1882. ENTRIES FORM DR. SETH HARTS JOURNAL
October 3, 1846, "Thomas Locker (of Wood County), Virginia, debtor to vial [of] eye wash: -$0.12-1/2."
March 24, 1847, "Wesley Locker, debtor, to going to Parkersburgh as witness in the case between him and James Dawson:- $5.00 . . . Expenses besides ferriage, dinner & c[are] accordingto agreement before I started:- $0.50 . . . Pleasant day."
April 28, 1847, "Wesley Locker, credit, by cow & calf: -$15.00"

He was married to Margaret Cadwell or Caldwell (daughter of Peter Cadwell and Mary Harmer) on Dec 14 1843 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV).^{(11) (62)} They were married by Enoch Rector, a Baptist minister. Margaret Cadwell or Caldwell was born on Apr 29 1823 in Morgan County, Ohio.⁽¹¹⁾ Thomas Wesley Locker and Margaret Cadwell or Caldwell had the following children:

74 i. Mary Ellen Locker^{(11) (63)} was born on Sep 21 1844 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV). She is living with her uncles, Lloyd and Alvin, in 1900 and her date of birth is given as March 1845.

76 iii. Arenal Locker⁽⁶⁴⁾ was born on May 24 1849 in Wood County, Virginia (now WV). The following is from Dr. Seth Hart's Journal, "May 24, 1849, Wesley Locker (of Wood County), Va., debtor to (child-birth) tedious labor. Spent nearly 24 hours: - $6.00." She died before 1860. ⁽⁶⁵⁾
