Elsie Marian Ritchie ⁽²³⁸⁾ was born on Apr 13 1912 in Warren Twp., Washington Co., Ohio.⁽²³⁹⁾ She died on Jul 26 1979 in Marietta, Ohio.⁽²³⁸⁾ Her obituary appeared in the Friday, July 27, 1979 edition of the Marietta Times as follows, "Mrs. Elsie Marian Harris, 66, of MArietta Rt. 4 died at 4:45 p.m. yesterday ar Marietta Memorial Hospital. - She was born April 13, 1913 in Warren Township, a daughter of the late Floyd L. and Mahala HAwkins Ritchie. She had been employed at the Women's Home. She was a member of the Warren United Presbyterian Church. - On May 16, 1934, she married Clifford Harris who survives with two sons and a daughter, David of Marietta Rt. 4, Larry of Marietta Rt. 2 and Mrs. Richard (Laura) Cutshaw of Marietta Rt. 4. There are seven grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters survive, Gilbert Ritchie of Jackson, Mich., Herman Ritchie of Lewsiville, Fred Ritchie of Marietta Rt. 2, Mrs. Mark (Hazel) Plaugher of Marietta, Mrs. Wallace (Carrie) Walker of Niantic, Conn., Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Schultz of Channahan, Ill., and Mrs. Thelma Masters of Marietta of Marietta Rt. 4. - Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the McClure Schafer Funeral Home with Rev. JAmes Shotwell officiating. Burial will be in Tunnell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home." She was buried on Jul 29 1979 in Tunnel Cemetery, Washington Co., Ohio.⁽²³⁸⁾

She was married to Clifford H. Harris (son of Charles F. Harris and Laura Carpenter) on May 16 1934 in Washington Co., Ohio. Elsie Marian Ritchie and Clifford H. Harris had the following children:
